Ulstein Bratvaag is a part of The Ulstein Group, which is one of Norway's
leading activities in the shipbuilding and ship's equipment industry, and
was established in 1917. The Group, which has its head office in Ulsteinvik
in Sunnmøre, consists of 39 companies in 16 countries with 3915 employees
and a turnover in 1997 of more than US$ 500 million.
In February 1997, we were about to purchase a new 24-volt battery for one of
our electrical forklifts. The battery was in a very bad condition and the
specific gravity was as low as it was barely measurable. The 50A charger was
able to charge with only 25,77 volts after 8 hours. We were visited by one
of your salesmen that suggested installing a EuroPULSE MP24 to rejuvenate
the battery.
Shortly after the EuroPULSE unit was installed, we recorded the charging
voltage to increase to 28,8 volts. The battery soon recovered to a full day
shift without needing to recharge during the day. Now, more than 19 months
later, the battery is still working full shifts, and we have installed
EuroPULSE on several vehicles to reduce our battery expenses. As you
understand, we are very satisfied with the results achieved with the use of
EuroPULSE.
Best Regards
