Securitas is the world leader in security solutions and have 3,900 employees in Norway and we are represented in most cities and rural districts. We offer profitable and effective security services to our clients within the following lines: guard securities, value transport and technical solutions.

Our vehicles are loaded with electronic equipment that are necessary for us to carry out the responsibilities we are trusted. Such electric equipment put a heavy load on the batteries and we had to replace the batteries every year to meet our minimum standards.

Battery replacement and working interruptions represent an essential expense, and when we were first introduced to EuroPULSE in early 1999, we decided to test its efficiency. The results were very positive and we expanded the evaluation process to include EuroPULSE on 70 batteries in our fleet. Those units were installed in both brand new vehicles and on batteries that had been in use for several months. Two years after we initiated the evaluation, our conclusion is that EuroPULSE have had extremely positive effects and have already doubled the lifetime of the batteries.

After two years in service with EuroPULSE installed, all batteries are still working satisfactorily. We have been able to both reduce our battery replacement expenses and the service interruption as a result of getting vehicles in for service due to lack of voltage. We have also noted that the current flow is steadier and it has had a positive effect on the electrical components installed.

As a result of the products efficiency, we now have all new vehicles from Mercedes delivered with EuroPULSE as a standard.
